The covid cases nationally are again out of control and now much more prevalent in our area. In response, Averte will be temporarily closed to all visitation as of Monday, November 16th. Averte believes this will also be in preparation for a probable stay home stay safe order our Governor has intimated is not far away.
This layer of safety will allow us to not change as much of our programming as we did in the infancy of the pandemic. Although we will reevaluate this daily, at this time we will continue the in person therapeutic programming, groups, trips to a drive through, hikes and walks.
Off campus holiday travel will continue to be assessed on an individual basis as long as we are not under a stay safe order.
Thank you for understanding that our client and employee safety is of our utmost concern and will need to take precedence over visitation and the holidays. It is our hope, with vigilance, we can get on the other side of this and will re-open to less restrictions, free travel and frequent visits.
